This visual is designed for caregivers of children who frequently escalate and create safety concerns. It provides a bit of visual guidance in the moment to know how to respond to various behaviors to take out the cognitive work involved in the task. It is not a one-sized fits all visual, however, and your child's treatment team should be consulted on how to adjust this visual to fit where your child is at in this season. This visual is NOT appropriate for all children and families, particularly those that have children that can be successful meeting a higher level of expectation.
